Founded in 1904, Whitney Brothers uses classic cabinetmaking techniques to design and manufacture unique, safe, sturdy, and innovative wood furniture, storage systems and educational products for early education schools, childcare centers, and private homes. The smooth rounded edges of our hardwoods and veneers employ the strongest woodworking joints and are finished by hand. We also design extra-wide spaces between doors and frames and use full-length continuous hinges to prevent little fingers from getting pinched. Special care is also given to ensure that all small parts such as knobs, handles, hooks, magnets and moving parts are smooth, rounded, and firmly attached to prevent breaking free under rigorous use. Our state-of-the-art finishes are made right here in the US and meet the most stringent safety requirements.
