AV Carts


AV Carts are a great way to make your AV equipment mobile and share between classrooms. You'll find a large array of AV carts to choose from to safely store and use your expensive electronic equipment. Check out the brief summary of features and options that you should consider on your next AV cart purchase.



Projector Carts and Overhead Projector Carts: Traditional overhead projectors are steadily being replaced by newer presentation equipment such as document cameras and ceiling mounted digital projectors but there is still a great deal of demand for a cart to store and secure the AV equipment.



TV Carts: More and more schools and businesses are adding a TV monitor to their AV resources and a good quality TV cart is essential in keeping it secure and mobile. Flat panel carts are equipped with VESA compatible mounting brackets to make installing the TV a cinch. The TV carts have a recommended monitor size capacity so make sure you choose the size to fit your screen.



Stand-Up or Sit-Down Height: Make sure you select the correct height of your AV Cart to meet the daily needs of your instructors. If the teacher will be seated while using the cart they will need to choose a cart with a height range of approximately 30". A stand-up unit will need to be much taller with a height range of approximately 39"-40" H.



Options: Each of the AV carts we offer come with various options and features. Casters make the units mobile and some have several sizes of casters to choose from to make it easy to move from room to room. The material that the units are constructed from can be metal, plastic or wood. Some AV Carts are mode of a combination of these materials. Locking storage is usually an option on most of the carts and it is provided to keep your equipment secure when not in use. Optional power strips are one of the most overlooked feature that can add convenience to your AV cart providing one source for all your electrical needs.
