From Grant to Gallery: Student Art on Display

Magnolia Parkway Junior High School (part of Magnolia ISD in Magnolia, TX) had a clear goal: create a high-visibility, secure way to celebrate student creativity in a space everyone walks through every day—the hallway. With a school improvement grant in hand, Visual Arts Teacher Ms. Nguyen turned an everyday corridor into a mini gallery that students can feel proud of.

And as always, we love seeing that full-circle moment—from purchase to placement to real-life impact.

The Need: A Better Way to Showcase Student Artwork

In a busy school environment, artwork deserves more than a quick pin-up. Ms. Nguyen wanted display cases for student artwork that would protect student work, stay neat in a high-traffic area, and make it easy to refresh displays throughout the year—without sacrificing that “wow” factor.

The Solution: Three Hallway Display Cases Built for Everyday Use

With help from our seasoned sales rep Alisa, Magnolia Parkway Junior High selected three wall-mounted display cases designed for school hallways—ideal for rotating exhibits, announcements, and student art showcases.

The Result: A Hallway That Feels Like a Celebration

The install itself looked great—but what happened next is the part we’ll never get tired of: students painted a mural around the cases, turning the installation into a true school-pride centerpiece. Now, the hallway isn’t just a pass-through—it’s a place to pause, notice, and celebrate student voice.

“Thank you for all of your assistance with the display order. They worked out great! It was part of a grant for school improvement and the students painted a mural around them. I will let the other schools know who to contact should they want display cases. Thanks again for your help!”

What Other Schools Can Take From This

  • Protect and elevate student work in high-traffic areas
  • Make updates easy for staff (swap exhibits, celebrate seasons, highlight achievements)
  • Build school culture by turning hallways into spaces that feel student-centered
