Metal Lecterns
Metal Lecterns and Steel Lecterns
While some churches prefer the appearance of wooden lecterns, others prefer the appearance and durability of metal ones. To fill that need, we have a variety of metal and steel lecterns.
Options with Storage
All of our metal podiums have at least a small amount of storage, with the ability to at least fit items that are about the size of a book or two. Most, however, have even more storage space than this. This gives the person using the steel lectern the ability to keep extra resources, like papers or books, handy. It also ensures that there is somewhere to set a cup of water or maybe a cup of coffee.
They Sit on Wheels
Most of our metal podiums have a set of wheels at the base. This makes them mobile, even when the cabinets are occupied.
That mobility is especially useful for backup or extra lecterns that you only pull out for special events, like guest speakers or holding services outside. The wheels are also particularly useful when you take full advantage of the cabinets built into the podiums, as that would make the podium heavier and bulkier, and therefore harder to move without wheels.
Multiple Uses
The possibilities for using steel podiums in your church are endless. The most obvious use would be when your preacher delivers sermons. That is even an option if you already have a wooden lectern. After all, you may want to have an extra one on hand for those occasions when you have a visiting priest.
You can also use a steel podium when you have services outside. This is a good use, as the metal is more durable and weather-resistant.
Metal lecterns are also useful in classrooms for Sunday school. Or maybe you have a multipurpose room where you occasionally host guest speakers. Steel lecterns would be very useful there.
