Whether you have a preschool, daycare, or another type of learning center, it is smart to have art easels in the classroom. They give kids the chance to express their creativity. They also have the bonus of giving you one-of-a-kind pieces of art to display in the classroom or for parents to display in their homes.

From paint easels to those designed for drawing, there are several styles to choose from. The most basic ones for learning centers typically have at least two sides, letting two children use them at once. Some are set up to accommodate three or even four kids, making the most of your space.

Most of the paint easels will have at least a little tray for paints or markers. Some also have shelves to give you even more storage for art supplies. Or some have racks for storage. While the majority of easels for daycares and other learning centers are for art, there are also options to hold books while you read to the class. This is a great way for teachers to reduce the strain on their hands and to ensure that everyone can see the book.

Many of the easels also sit on wheels to make them highly portable. Even the ones that aren’t on wheels can be easy to move. This is especially true for the smaller ones that accommodate two or three preschoolers. That being said, even those for four kids are toddler-sized, so they are not too challenging to move despite being much sturdier.
