How do I calculate my shipping cost?
Shipping rates may be calculated by adding all items to your shopping cart. Select "Proceed to Checkout" and complete your shipping address. Once entered you will see shipping information appear under "Shipping Methods" at the bottom of the page, along with additional freight services you may add. Make your selections and click "Next" to see the complete shipping amount for your order. You may use this amount on your purchase order, or continue with the checkout process online.

We make every effort to ensure that you are receiving the most competitive rates available. The amount you are charged is based on the size, weight, and distance to your location from our supplier(s).
When possible, order all furniture from the same brand so shipping is consolidated. You generally will receive a better freight rate and have fewer deliveries.
We ship factory direct from furniture manufacturers located across the USA. Cartons and packing slips may not have the Worthington Direct™ name on them, but instead the actual manufacturer's name.
Smaller items can ship UPS or FedEx Ground, but larger and heavier items are shipped via freight truck and delivered using one of the following methods:
- Tailgate delivery is the standard freight truck procedure and requires that your staff offloads your complete shipment from the back of the freight truck. If your facility has a loading dock, access to a forklift, or your football team is availble to offload - then tailgate delivery is the right choice for you. Keep in mind that a freight truck's trailer is approximately 49" high off the ground.
- Liftgate service should be requested if your school does not have a loading dock, forklift, or staff able to offload from the back of the freight truck. The freight truck will be outfitted with a mechanical lift that will lower all freight to the ground level. You will still be responsible for bringing your items into your building.
- Inside Delivery service includes liftgate service, plus limited threshold delivery. The freight driver will lower your shipment to the ground level and then bring the complete shipment inside the first set of doors to your building. The driver will not bring items up any stairs or beyond the first set of doors. You may still need to assist the driver with products that are extremely large or heavy. Drivers do not provide White Glove Delivery. Once the shipment is brought inside, no additional services will be provided (e.g., removal of items from pallet, room placement, package disposal, etc).
Notification prior to delivery is available at no extra charge for freight truck shipments only. If you are ordering for an organization that might be closed due to holiday or other reasons around your expected delivery time, please include that information in the order comments. All freight truck shipments require that someone is available at arrival to inspect items and sign receipt.
Deliveries are only made on weekdays - Monday through Friday.
